notes: This concept considers an array of porcelain fixtures holding incandescent bulbs. The bulbs are serialized such that each setup of the piece results in the identical postioning of each bulb within the piece for each exhibition. Bulbs form a rudimentary pixilated image or text. As the each bulb reaches the end of its service life and burns out, it is not replaced. Eventually, meaning is lost to attrition, even as the physicality of the work is unchanged.
